Testing task: Navigate to the first breadcrumb link in interaction mode

With JAWS in interaction mode, describe how JAWS behaves when performing task "With focus on the 'Navigate forwards from here' link, navigate to the 'WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices' link."

Test instructions

  1. Restore default settings for JAWS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
  2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that sets focus on a link before the 'WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices' link.
  3. Verify the PC Cursor is active by pressing Alt+Delete. If it is not, turn off the Virtual Cursor by pressing Insert+Z.
  4. With focus on the 'Navigate forwards from here' link, navigate to the 'WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices' link.
  5. Using the following commands, With focus on the 'Navigate forwards from here' link, navigate to the 'WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices' link.
