Testing task: Decrement a spin button to the minimum value in interaction mode

With JAWS in interaction mode, describe how JAWS behaves when performing task "With focus on the 'Day' spin button, set its value to 'first'."

Test instructions

  1. Restore default settings for JAWS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
  2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that sets the date picker to March 19, 2021, and sets focus on the 'Day' spin button.
  3. Verify the PC Cursor is active by pressing Alt+Delete. If it is not, turn off the Virtual Cursor by pressing Insert+Z.
  4. With focus on the 'Day' spin button, set its value to 'first'.
  5. Using the following commands, With focus on the 'Day' spin button, set its value to 'first'.
