Testing task: Navigate from an expanded disclosure button to the text of a question answer

Describe how VoiceOver for macOS behaves when performing task "With focus on the first disclosure button in the list of frequently asked questions, move into the text of the associated question answer. Note: you may need to press Control+Option+Right multiple times to hear the answer text in its entirety."

Test instructions

1. Restore default settings for VoiceOver for macOS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that sets focus on the first disclosure button, and sets its state to expanded.
3. Toggle Quick Nav OFF by pressing the Left Arrow and Right Arrow keys at the same time.
4. With focus on the first disclosure button in the list of frequently asked questions, move into the text of the associated question answer. Note: you may need to press Control+Option+Right multiple times to hear the answer text in its entirety.
5. Using the following commands, With focus on the first disclosure button in the list of frequently asked questions, move into the text of the associated question answer. Note: you may need to press Control+Option+Right multiple times to hear the answer text in its entirety.
   • Control+Option+Right
   • Control+Option+Command+P

Success Criteria

To pass this test, VoiceOver for macOS needs to meet all the following assertions when each specified command is executed:

1. Text of the answer is conveyed as 'Park at the nearest available parking meter without paying the meter and call 999-999-9999 to report the problem. We will note and approve your alternate location and will investigate the cause of the shortage in your assigned facility.'
