Testing task: Navigate from a collapsed disclosure button to a link in a dropdown in interaction mode

With JAWS in interaction mode, describe how JAWS behaves when performing task "With focus on the 'Admissions' disclosure button, navigate to the 'Campus Tours' link."

Test instructions

  1. Restore default settings for JAWS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
  2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that expands the first disclosure button and sets focus on the second disclosure button.
  3. Verify the PC Cursor is active by pressing Alt+Delete. If it is not, turn off the Virtual Cursor by pressing Insert+Z.
  4. With focus on the 'Admissions' disclosure button, navigate to the 'Campus Tours' link.
  5. Using the following commands, With focus on the 'Admissions' disclosure button, navigate to the 'Campus Tours' link.
    • Shift+Tab

Success Criteria
